You must tax your cinch car yourself before driving it. Tax online via the DVLA website using the vehicle registration and 12-digit V5C reference from your order email, or by phone at 0300 123 4321. Note, electric vehicles will require road tax from April 1, 2025, and the V5 reference is only valid until delivery day.

How do I tax my cinch car?
Online:
1️⃣ Visit the DVLA website
2️⃣ Answer “No” when asked if you have a tax reminder letter (V11)
3️⃣ Select “V5C/2 new keeper supplement (green slip)”
4️⃣ Enter your details: Vehicle registration number and 12‑digit V5C ref number (from the email “What happens now your order’s confirmed?”)

⚠️ Important information:
- Electric vehicles are no longer exempt from road tax from 1 April 2025.
