Cooling-off period
All cinchCover products come with a 30-day cooling-off period, which starts from:
- The start date on your policy schedule, or
- The date you receive your terms and conditions (whichever is later)
If you cancel within this period and haven’t made any claims, you’ll get a full refund for any payments made.
Cancelling after the cooling-off period
- You can cancel your cinchCover at any time without a cancellation fee.
- Any refunds will be subject to the terms and conditions of your policy and no further payments will be taken.
How to cancel online via Vehicle Care:

Visit Vehicle Care by Assurant and log in
- First-time users will need to create an account
- If you’ve used Vehicle Care before, log in with your existing details
- Once logged in, submit a ‘Contact Us’ request to cancel your plan
